Event Description

This course imparts basic principles and information of Functional Safety regarding protection equipment. Details and terms of the standards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511 will be explained in a clear and intelligible context.

Trainer’s Profile

Mr. Chen Zhenkang is a Functional Safety Expert of TUV Rheinland with 10-year working experience with local and global functional safety projects. His specialisation is Safety Instrumented Systems, Safety Lifecycle Management and Functional Safety Management according to IEC 61511 and IEC 61508. Stationed in Singapore, he is the Functional Safety Assessor for Process Industry in Asia Pacific region.
