<Bidding>
The competition amongst destinations to host events is tougher now than ever. This session will look at how to build the strongest possible bid team and how to market your bid by creating a unified brand story around your destination, your people and your wider community of stakeholders. We will also look at how to organise the bid process and provide tips for successful lobbying.

<Site Visits>
Often, after all the research, working on a bid and lobbying, it all comes down to one or two days in your destination with the potential client. However, site visits are seldom given the attention they deserve. This session looks at case studies of successful and unsuccessful site visits, and provides pointers on preparation and what really matters most to clients.

<Marketing>
Today, not only do we need to inform our audience, we need to engage them. In our digital world, it is a challenge to hold the attention of your potential delegates. Social media, email marketing and other marketing tools offer some solutions - but they are still not enough.  This session will introduce new ways and new tools for a modern day PCO to engage prospective delegates.

<Trends and Meeting Formats>
The covid-19 pandemic has changed the business meetings landscape dramatically.  What that means for the industry is the focus of this session together with commentary on the future formats of business meetings (in-person, hybrid and virtual).  How to describe the options and associated costs and benefits to clients so they are fully informed when deciding on a format will be addressed.

<Risk and Crisis Management>
This session will raise awareness of the potential risks and crises you are likely to be exposed to in your project management role. You will be equipped with the tools for framing risks and methods of mitigating them.  The approach to identifying a crisis, planning for various scenarios and the tools which need to be in place for a rapid response will also be discussed.

<Financial Management>
Good financial management is essential to a well-run conference. This session covers the general principles of financial management, including budgeting, budget control and cashflow forecasting. We will show you how to build a self-financing budget, forecast revenue and expenditure, create cashflow that dovetails with your budget and ensure no surprises.

<Legacy>
Extending the life of a conference beyond its actual dates and the impact it can make both locally and globally is now an integral part of a PCO’s role.  In this session we share observations about the impacts that can be created and how to guide clients in bringing their ideas to life.

※各講義のタイトルは変更となる場合がございます。詳細はセミナー1週間前に事務局よりお送りします。
