Event Description
In celebration of the World Orienteering Day (WOD), we would like to host the first ever Night Orienteering event in Singapore. This will also be a ranking event for the Singapore Orienteering League (SOL).
Meeting Point: Shelter next to Block 40, Tampines Street 41, Singapore 520401
Date: Wednesday, 23rd May 2018
Time: 7pm
Format - Sprint (Sequence), Score (Points)
Categories Available:
Competitive (Male/Female) and Open Class (Male/Female)
Punching - Electronic (SPORTident)
Entry Fees
$10 (NSOL Participants)
$15 per Entry (other Participants)
$20 per Entry on Race day.
Includes race entry, Equipment Usage, and a Donation to a local beneficiary.

General timeline for the day:
7pm - Registration and Pre-race Admin
730pm - Flag offs (at an interval of 60s)
830pm - Last Flag off
9pm - Cut off time for everyone
10pm - Results release and Post Race Review.
Important Notes:
- Participants are encouraged to bring along your own light source (by means of a head lamp) to assist you for this race.
- No Bag deposit will be provided & you are encouraged to travel light.
- Do bring along a Photo ID to exchange for your SPORTident timing key.
Getting to Sunplaza Park:
By Public Transport - Alight at Tampines MRT Station and look for the Tampines HDB Branch Office. Head North from that direction and you will see the park. Estimated walking time from the MRT station - 10minutes.
By Car - Paid Public Parking is available in nearby carparks.
