Exploring Israeli DeepTech & Emerging NewSpace Trends
This is an offline event co-hosted by Earth & Beyond Ventures, an Israeli VC firm specializing in New Space and Deeptech, who is funded by large companies such as Kyocera and Corning, in partnership with the Israeli government agency IIA. In this session, we will talk about the latest trends in deep tech and space tech and expectations for large Japanese companies from a perspective of a local VC in Israel, where the entire country is involved in deeptech research & development which is increasingly being utilized to produce numerous space startups. We plan to have a networking session at the end of the event so if you are interested in the latest trends in space tech and deep tech from Israel, please come and join us.

Daniel Kolbar
Minister, Head of Economic & Trade Mission Embassy of Israel in Japan
After serving as head of bilateral trade agreements at the Foreign Trade Administration, he has been in his current position since October 2020. In 2013, he established the Israeli Economic and Trade Mission in Rio de Janeiro, where he served as Consul for Economic Affairs in Brazil until December 2017.
Noga Yaari
VP Ecosystem, Earth & Beyond Ventures
Noga is the VP Ecosystem at Earth & Beyond Ventures, a new Israeli fund which invests in early-stage Israeli startups in the field of spacetech and deeptech. Noga has extensive experience at building and managing technology ecosystems, with expertise in fostering strategic relationships between Israeli startups and international industry, as well as initiating projects, activities, and collaborations, with a proven track record in the fields of aerospace, mobility and climatech.
Doron Zauer
General Partner, Earth & Beyond Ventures
Doron Zauer is an experienced investor, director and entrepreneur focused on the Israeli technology market. Doron is a Co-Founder & General Partner at Earth & Beyond Ventures, which is an early stage Israeli VC fund investing in deep-tech and new-space technologies, in partnership with the Israel Innovation Authority.
Assaf Wise
CTO, Earth & Beyond Ventures
Assaf Wise is a leading figure in the Israeli technology ecosystem with over 20 years of experience in high-end research and development of highly innovative and high-reliability custom systems both in top secret military units and in private companies. Assaf, a graduate of an elite intelligence unit, retired from the Israeli Army as a Lieutenant Colonel after having led teams across countless technological verticals including physical optics, free space optics, mechanics, electronics, engineering, energy, and materials. Assaf serves as CTO for Earth & Beyond Ventures.
