Cloud Native Telecom Operator Meetupは，5G時代にむけた通信事業者のネットワークインフラの進化について技術･標準化･オープンソース･アカデミックの観点から議論を行う会議です．NFVの標準化を牽引してきたETSI NFV ISGのプレナリー会合が、2019年12月に日本で開催されるため、著名な開発者や標準化担当者をお呼びし講演や議論を行いたいと考えております。
5G時代にむけ通信事業者におけるネットワークインフラでは，ネットワーク仮想化 (NFV) 、エッジコンピューティング，クラウドネイティブ化，end-to-end (E2E) オーケストレーション、オープンソースの活用など大きく流れが変わってきております。また，新しい通信事業者プレイヤーの参加やクラウドネイティブ化など、以前よりネットワークインフラに注目が集まり、議論が活発になってきております。これまで通信事業業界においては、標準化からの製品化そしてサービス展開という流れが主流であったが、OpenStackやコンテナ技術などのオープンソースの活用も増えてきており、標準化とオープンソースとの関わり合いも以前にまして重要になってきております。本カンファレンスでは，通信事業者，通信機器メーカ、クラウド分野のオープンソース開発者をあつめ、今後のネットワークの進化にむけ技術や標準化およびユースケースから議論を行いたいと考えております．本年は，東京大学の小柴ホールにて開催します、是非ご参加いただきますようお願いいたします。

Cloud Native Telecom Operator Meetup is a conference on the evolution of the network infrastructure of the communication operators toward 5G-era. a discussion from the point of view of technology, standardization and open source academic. Since the plenary meeting of ETSI NFV ISG, which has led the standardization of NFV, will be held in Japan in December 2019, we would like to invite prominent developers and standardization staff to give lectures and discussions.

In the 5G era, the network infrastructure of telecommunications carriers is changing dramatically, including network virtualization (NFV), edge computing, cloud nativeization, end-to-end (E2E) orchestration, and the use of open source. You In addition, network infrastructure has been attracting attention for a long time, such as the participation of new telecommunications carrier players and cloud nativeization.
Until now, in the telecommunications business industry, the flow from standardization to product development and service development has been the mainstream, but the use of open source such as OpenStack and container technology has increased, and the relationship between standardization and open source has also increased. It has become more important than before.
At this conference, we will gather together communication carriers, communication device manufacturers, and open source developers in the cloud field, and we would like to discuss technology, standardization and use cases for future network evolution. This year, it will be held at the Koshiba Hall of the University of Tokyo.
