Known for a menu that brings a light touch to the big flavours of regional cuisine, COMO Cuisine is now imparting its kitchen secrets to home chefs of every level.
The Master Class series kicks off with three separate sessions devoted to three star ingredients: Herbs, Spices and Oils. In each session, COMO Cuisine Executive Chef Timothy de Souza, together with COMO Shambhala Urban Escape Singapore’s registered dietician and nutritionist Eve Persak will demonstrate how you can add new depths to your food with each of these star ingredients.
Beyond tantalising your tastebuds, Eve will also delve into the role of ingredients and food in achieving one’s wellness goals. She will describe each ingredient’s intrinsic benefits and dispense advice on the preparations and combinations that are best absorbed by the body.
Students will also get the chance to expand their personal repertoire of recipes with a cooking demonstration of appetisers, soups, salads, desserts and mains. Each dish will showcase a star ingredient, and participants can gain hands-on experience by taking part in the preparation of the meal. Each session will culminate in a private luncheon, during which participants can get up close and personal with COMO’s culinary and nutrition experts, and receive insider tips on cooking to treat the senses and nourish the body.
