Announcement: Reopening of workshop registration
We have now reopened workshop registration.
Please note that
1. The aim of pre-registering for workshops is for both logistical purposes and to inform workshop speakers of the number of participants in their workshop. Registering for a workshop does not guarantee you a seat - seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis when doors open for each workshop. In certain cases we may ask you to stand and listen to the workshop.
2. While pre-registration is essential for workshops, you do NOT need to pre-register to listen to the presentations on the symposium and innovation stages.
3. The workshops and symposium and innovation stages presentations are concurrent. Please check all three schedules and only register for the workshops you plan to attend. The workshops are proving to be very popular. If you have registered for a workshop on the off chance that you might attend please cancel your registration to enable another person to take your place.

イベント概要
Pioneers Asia、FIN/SUM と2つの大きなスタートアップイベントを開催してきた日本経済新聞社。次に挑戦するテーマは「アグリテック」––農業とテクノロジーの融合––です。
その舞台となるのが、AG/SUM （アグサム: アグリテックサミット)。業界や国の枠組みを超えた多様な参加者と、世界を圧倒する最先端技術が結集。今までのアグリテックイベントにはなかった熱気とエネルギーから、未来の農業を創造する大きな力が生まれることでしょう。AG/SUMは、4つのプログラムで構成されます。
*シンポジウム –– 国内外の有識者が、アグリテックに関する熱い議論を交わす。
*ワークショップ –– トップレベルの専門家から直接学べるインタラクティブな場。
*ハーベスト –ハッカソン、アイデアソン、アクセラレーターを組み合わせた革新的プログラム。新しいアグリテックビジネスの誕生を目指す。
*ランド –– 先進的な農業従事者やスタートアップによる活気ある発表スペース。投資家やアクセラレーターとの交流の場も。

Having successfully organized two major global start-up events--Pioneers Asia and FIN/SUM--Nikkei Inc. is now focusing on agritech, and how disruptive technology is fusing with agriculture to shape our future.
Diverse & featuring cutting edge high-tech, AG/SUM is comprised of 4 programs.
*Symposium –– Lively discussions on agritech by industry leaders and experts.
*Workshop –– Interactive learning opportunities.
*Harvest –– A new program that is a combination of a hackathon, ideathon, and accelerator program. Harvest will be held over the course of a few months.
