Event Description
OKTOBERFEST ASIA
Oktoberfest was originally conceived in Bavaria, South Germany in 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig, who later became King Ludwig I.
Oktoberfest is now celebrated throughout the world to recognise the finest things in life - Friendship, Pleasure, Hearty Food, Live Music and Beer Drinking.
While there have been numerous attempts at re-creating the event in Singapore, Oktoberfest Asia has now become recognised by purists as the most authentic in Singapore and Asia!
Oktoberfest Asia 2013 was the 1st traditional festival in Singapore with authentic Bavarian beers, a true Munchen band, gourmet Bavarian food, and an atmosphere and decorations just like in Munich but a party in Asia. Das Original!
This year, Oktoberfest Asia 2016 will be held at a brand new central Singapore location at Tan Quee Lan Street (opposite Bugis Junction) in a bigger and fully air-conditioned marquee; giving more revellers better accessibility to experience a truly authentic Oktoberfest.
